Chapter 11. Haunting Memories

"Is there anything you want to tell me or should I hand up the call?" Clara asked in a curt tone that startled Alex. How can anyone talk to him like this?

"I will be returning on the evening flight and will be home before 8 at night" he felt so stupid to recite his schedules to her. Who is she? But alas the damage is done already.

"Am I your maid?" She asked as he widened his eyes at her words.

"You should call Joe and tell him. I don't have anything in connection with your arrival. If you think that I would prepare your food or something like that like a normal wife, I am sorry, I was not the one you were supposed to marry" Clara barked in the call. She for the fact knew that he can't do anything in the call. Right now, her mood is really bad and she can burn anyone alive with her words. And moreover Alex is the main reason she lost her rights over the company. So she deserved to already vent out her anger.
