Chapter 56. Alex's Gift

It was a chocolate truffle cake. Clara didn't know who chose the flavor and design. But it was just lovely and she felt happy after a long time. The continuous threats from Elsa's followers were too much to bear and on top of it, her dad's betrayal made her so tired. This little celebration brought a little happiness to her messed-up life. 

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you, dear" Everyone sang the song as she cut the cake. She took the first piece and was not sure whom she should give it. Earlier in her childhood days, it would be always her dad. After that, she never did this. So she is not quite sure of whom she should give them. 

The cake was so tempting that she wanted to eat them first before she offered it to anyone. But it would be quite rude and mean.
