Chapter 83. Awkward Lunch

It's been some days and Rose hasn't talked to anyone. She was in her home, just sleeping and eating. Alex didn't return home. Frank and Grace sighed tiredly seeing their kids. It will take some time for them to overcome this but both of them didn't even try to talk with Sandy. It's as if they knew that Sandy would never accept them in their lives. 

"I have invited Sandy for lunch" Frank broke the news as Rose stood in her position. She was eating her sandwiches but stopped abruptly. It's almost 12 and she came down to have her breakfast.

"I have given lists for his favorites. Can you check and add if anything was missing?" Frank asked Rose directly where she didn't even lift her eyes to meet her father. 

"I have little work outside." Rose stood up abruptly so that she could get out of the home before Sandy could come there. She has no courage to meet him and at least not now.
