Bianca's POV

"Charlesssss, hurry!!!" I screamed, a hint of impatience in my voice. "My gosh, what’s taking you so long?"

"Coming, babe!" Charles called back, but there was still no sign of him.

Charles and I had been living on the island—my island—for a week now. He seemed to be starting to forget the weight of what happened to his brother, or maybe he was just trying to forget. One thing I knew for sure was how much happier he seemed now. He wasn’t completely over the past, but he was making progress, letting go of the guilt he had carried for so long.

Since I owned the island now, I invited Zac and Kumiko to join us. It would be more fun with all of us together, and they were already on their way.
