Chapter 47. Some Last Romantic Moments

Noelle’s POV

I walk past Faith who is showing the healers how to do blood healing on a tree with many branches. Then I walk past Nolan who is telling the warriors about any weak spots dark humans might have. Lastly, I pass Zeus who is discussing with the magicians what magic might affect demons. Finally, I see a massive blue tent with symbols of lightning on it.

I walk in and see Gabriel standing over a strategy table. There is a big fireplace, a small table, and a big bed in the tent.

I look around amazed and say, “Did not know you could bring all this stuff on a marching mission.”

Gabriel kisses my cheek and says, “I wanted to have one special night with you before the battle. Just you and I secluded. Enjoying each other’s company and for a moment nothing else will matter.”

I feel butterflies in my stomach when I look at him and realize how lucky I am.
