Haruto's pale face regained some colour when Aito lifted his head and he smiled a little. “Please forgive me, Aito.”

Aito let a short silence stretch between them before finally nodding. “Okay. Just don’t do it again.”

Haruto let out a relieved sigh and nodded. He’d never ever upset Aito like that again. He would do anything to make Aito happy. His biggest fear wasn’t just Aito leaving him. What terrified him was the possibility of Aito going back to Ryu. 

If Aito should reject him and date some other dude, he could take it. He could be patient and plan a way to get Aito back but if Aito should leave him for Ryu, he would never accept it. In that case, one of them would have to leave the earth.
