Chapter 20
Beckett let out a deep breath when he heard what Vivianne said. In one swift move, he moved away from Vivianne as he started the engine again, and drove the car afterwards.
Vivianne bit her lower lip as she thought that Beckett pretended not to hear her insinuation. She was suddenly ashamed of herself. Why is she saying that? Where did she get the courage to speak?
She just wanted to bang his head against the wall. However, she got everything all wrong.
“B-Beckett?” Vivianne stuttered calling to the man when he suddenly stopped the car on the side—On the grass side. “What are we doing here—”
She didn't finish what he had to say when Beckett suddenly leaned her against the window and gave her a kiss. It wasn't even gentle or passionate. It was aggressive as soon as Beckett's lips crashed onto hers.
