Chapter 88

Hazel pulled into the company parking lot, her tires screeching slightly as she brought her car to a halt. She didn't waste any time, quickly exiting the vehicle and striding towards the lounge area. 

That's where she spotted Summer, her manager, who was already seated and sipping on a cup of coffee.

As soon as Summer caught sight of Hazel, a warm smile spread across her face. 

"Oh, Hazel!" she exclaimed, setting her cup down. "You look like you're in a hurry. Is everything okay?"

Hazel slowed her pace slightly, her brow furrowed in concern. 

"Not really," she replied, her eyes locked onto Summer's. "What's going on? You said it was urgent."

Summer's smile faltered for a moment before she recovered. 

"Well, you have an unexpected photo shoot today," she explained, her voice measured. 

"And I have your schedule tab ready for you." Hazel's eyes narrowed slightly, her mind racing with questions.
