Travis flipped through the email on his computer screen for the third time, the words blurring as a lump formed in his throat. The message from Camila was polite but curt, a stark contrast to her usual fiery banter. It read like a corporate critique, devoid of any warmth or personal touch.

“Needs more variety,” she had written. “Perhaps some with more... personality?”

He swivelled in his chair, staring out the vast window that framed the city’s skyline- a view he once proudly showed off to Camila during one of their early dates. His reflection in the glass was a man in a crisp suit, hair immaculately styled, a picture of success. Travis had always found power in that image, but now, doubt crept into the edges of his assuredness.

“Personality?” he muttered to himself, raking a hand through his hair and ruining its perfect composure. “Wasn’t there enough personality in the way I’m analyzing these market trends? In the focus, it takes to- “
