"Thank you, George," I appreciated after a moment of silent deliberation. "Will you be able to get across to Mark?"

"Yes, I should be able to. I just hope he sees my call. It should be loud whenever he is."

I exhaled softly to calm my nerves and restrain myself from asking for Mark's number. "If you get across to him, please tell him."
