Chapter 193. Apologies

Alana let out a sigh as she sat down and Brigitte handed her a cup of coffee. It was early in the afternoon. Brigitte came to visit her after what happened. 

“It's not your fault, Alana…” Brigitte said seeing how worked up Alana was. It had been days and Alana seemed to be running away from Ricardo. She spent her time overworking. 

“It's my fault… I ordered the food…how careless of me…he will never forgive me,” it was easy for Brigitte to say. But she saw that look in Ricardo's eyes. The love he had for his son. 

“Ricardo loves you…he would never blame you for anything,” Brigitte tried to reason with Alana, but unfortunately, Alana couldn't see a way out. Ricardo was so angry that he shut down the entire restaurant and nearly had the owner jailed.

“Not more than his son,” 

“It's all that girl's fault…who sent her and why did she do that,” Brigitte scoffed disdainfully and rose from the chair. It turned out that one of the employees a
