The laughter returned. Juliet led us through the crowd, accepting congratulations and stopping for hugs. Hands reached out, male and female, touching us, saying hello. I saw more than one paw reach for Rita’s beautiful breasts and even more fondle Jess’s barely covered ass.

We arrived in the kitchen and laid our eyes on a buffet unlike any we had ever seen before. There was a crystal bowl filled with punch. There was every measure of liquor and wine. But it was the drugs that stole the show. I recognized a lot of them, but more than half I was stumped by. There was cocaine, of course, and weed and its offspring in a handful of formats.
