Thorne POV
My heart almost leaped into my throat because all of a sudden, an arrow came flying out of nowhere, whizzing past my ears until it embedded itself on the wall across from me. For a second, I was shocked, trying to process what had just happened and in the next second, I was now standing before the wall.
My muscles tensed and for some reason I couldn’t place, fear didn’t grip but instead, my eyes were piqued with curiosity because why was an envelope attached to the arrow?
Confusion swamped my mind. Who was still doing this in this century?
