Alayana’s POV

“I will investigate Alpha.” I saw Mr. Ollie lowering his head with respect. I think he also knew my family situation by now, but he still took time to clearly investigate, which means he is serious about his responsibilities and never makes decisions in a hurry.

He then turned to me and inspected me with squinted eyes. His large fingers ran down my cheeks even though I showed my reluctance. I felt my skin burn under his touch. It was new to me but it also scared me.

“To reduce wolfbane in her blood we need to give her some medicines. She should be under observation…”

“Ok. Come to pack house daily to check on her”

Clarke choked as she didn’t mean it like that.

I tried to smile lightly when I saw Clarke’s face, but the wound near the edge of my lips pained.

I never knew an Alpha can be this difficult to talk, or maybe he understood her meaning but trying to do things in his way.

“Check out what other wounds
