Chapter 76

Third-Person POV

“See here.” Oliva patted Eartha’s elbow and showed an open window. They looked out and saw footprints on the windowsill and two letters were placed on the nightstand.

It started raining with thunder tearing the sky. The wind blew, making the windows door rumble, Oliva’s heartbeat raced. She doesn’t want to believe but that was the truth.

“No way!” Oliva freaked out and ran to the hall where the engagement party was going on. She is worried that Alayana would struggle in a heavy storm if Alpha Isaac doesn’t go after her.

Eartha recovered from shock and followed Oliva to the hall. She tried to stop Oliva so as to not create a scene in front of the guests but she was a few seconds behind. She stood from afar and saw her brother’s face turning to red.

“What did you say?!” his cold words got shivers in Oliva’s spine. Soon Ollie stood behind Oliva to support her from freaking out.
