Chapter 16. River Falls
Luna's POV
“I’m sorry and the mansion that burned down is still not cleaned.” The man who called us earlier scratched his head. I never thought the fire in our mansion was so bad. There is not even anything left. The only thing left is the few walls and poles that support the concrete of our mansion house, but are now colored black.
The color surrounded the house, yellow things used by the police during investigations. It was yellow, so I knew we could not enter, so we were far away while looking at it. I don’t know if the case has been closed; I have had no news. If they asked me why I didn’t come back here, I would say out of fear. I felt then that everyone would blame me, so I hid. I don’t know if in two years how I managed my life. All I know is that I can handle everything.
