Logan’s POV
Soon, the foods were shared around. Everyone was busy fetching their plates, and voices and sounds of cutleries mixed together on the long table.
I, on the other hand, had no interest in the many Italian dishes my mother had put together. With my father’s constant gaze at me, I knew there was more about my presence here tonight than merely having dinner and meeting some long-lost family.
“So!” Martello cuts through the silence, his head turned to me as he addressed me, “Tell us how you have been fairing, Logan. I heard you run the biggest cult the world has ever seen, taking after my cousin brother, Santiago.”
