Three months later.Carter had just arrived in a city. He did not go to the private spot to deal with business, nor did he return to Luciano's house to see his daughter. The first time, he rushed to the public security department. Tobias was detained at the police station when he was found with d***s.

He had been in detention for close to 48 hours, and the family lawyer accompanied him. The police interrogation did not go smoothly. Once 48 hours had passed, he had to be released without conclusive evidence, but his case was different.

The authorities now had something to use against one of the Luciano men, and chances of letting him go free were slim, but the Luciano didn't want to have the authorities investigate more but to shield them from going further.

They sent someone from the police department to find out what the authorities knew and discovered from the time they captured Tobias and who snitched him.
