Chapter 211. Awake

At the corner of the staircase, Agatha was hiding, originally intending to eavesdrop on their plans for her. Unexpectedly, she overheard Jamal’s attitude toward her.

She couldn’t help but burst into tears. Only at this moment did she realize how ridiculous her previous actions had been. She had pushed this man to the point where he had to sever ties with his own family because of her.

She tightly covered her mouth, afraid of crying out loud, but the tears kept flowing from her eyes.

To ease her emotions, she had no choice but to return to her room and cry uncontrollably.

“Of course, this matter shouldn’t be settled by asking Hazel’s opinion. Asking her feels like a form of moral coercion. But Jamal, have you really thought this through? Are you truly willing to sever ties with the Price family for Agatha?”
