Chapter 255. Brotherhood

From a distance, Mark spotted the familiar house.

He never expected that, in such a luxurious villa area, there would still be a house just like the one they used to have in their small town.

“Grandpa, we’ve arrived.”

The car stopped in front of one of the villas, and as soon as it halted, someone came out of the house.

It was the butler, helping Bernard, who was leaning on a cane. For some reason, when Damon saw Bernard this time, he no longer felt the same overwhelming, arrogant presence from the other day.

Instead, there was a hint of anxiety, as if Bernard feared something yet longed to see his older brother.

Hearing the sound, Mark, who had just gotten out of the car, turned his gaze toward the villa entrance.

Both brothers’ hair had turned gray, their deep-set eyes locked onto each other, and in their gazes, they saw a sense of release.

At their age, continuing to hold onto grudges seemed meaningless.
