“I’ve mostly recovered, so I rushed back to the company. If there’s anything I can help with, just let me know. Although I’m not as capable as you, I can still handle some tasks.”
Just as she was speaking, Sully walked in with some documents. “Oh, I thought it was someone else in the CEO’s office. Turns out it’s Vice President Queen. What a rare guest. Running away from something?”
Jonah knew that only Hazel was in the office, so he wasn’t expecting Sully to return so quickly.
Whenever he encountered Sully, he found it hard to have a proper conversation.
