We entered the field with a widespread ovation from the stands. Edward took two fingers to his lips and whistled very loudly, being accompanied by some former students who also pledged to appear to attend the last game of the season. I waved euphorically, opening a smile so wide that my cheeks hurt. We were in position while the boys of the team entered, and the uproar in the stands intensified, everyone beat their feet against the metal surface on which they sat. The players waved, sent kisses, and positioned themselves in front of the benches.
