Myra stood in the doorway, blocking the door as she coldly stared at Kris. “Kris, you should be thankful that I don’t have a recording of what you said to me in the past. Otherwise, the things that I can get for myself won’t stop at just those.”

Slamming the door shut with a loud ‘Bang!’, she leaned her back against the security door and turned a deaf ear to Kris’ frustrated voice outside. She clenched her fists tightly, feeling as if she had managed to vent some of her anger. I will probably be forced to fight a long, drawn-out war from now on. Taking out her phone, she immediately dialed Tony’s number. Although she called him three times in a row, her calls went unanswered. He must be angry.
