I nodded, got in and started the car.

Liam was brought to the hospital. I sat in the corridor of the hospital and let the wind blow. It was a little cold and my heart was badly numbed.

It shouldn't have come to this. Why did it end up like this?

I waited in the hallway for an hour before Liam came out of the operating room. He was pushed into the ward by the nurse.

The doctor asked me to go through the hospitalization procedures. I didn't know much about the situation, so I couldn't help but ask the doctor, "Doctor, how is he? Will there be any sequelae?"

The doctor smiled and said, "There's nothing wrong with the bone. He'll be fine after a few days of self-healing. He's had an operation on his leg before and broke his muscles and bones for a hundred days. I will arrange for him to have an x-ray and I'll take a look at the details."

I nodded repeatedly and said thank you several times before I went to the ward.

Because of the
