I pursed my lips and changed the subject. "Were you here to talk?"

He withdrew his eyes from the empty cup on the table and answered, "Who spilled it?"

I frowned. "Are you going to beat her up or give her a cup of coffee?"

He raised his eyebrows. "Which way do you like?"

"All right, you guys talk about things. I'll go first. There's something I have to do with the company!" What's the use of saying that, after all, he wouldn't even find Nicole to beat her up, and for a fact, he won't.

He grabbed my wrist and asked, "What did she want to talk to you about?"

I was getting impatient and had a headache, "Jordan, let's go home and talk about things first!"

As I shook off his hand, I went straight out of the coffee shop.

Not far away, Jordan followed. He put his coat on me. "Since you didn't drive here, I'll take you back later. Go change your clothes first, then we'll head back to the company."

I furrowed my eyebrow
