Catherine was only relieved when the doctor confirmed that her baby was safe but she was advised to be extra careful because it could be dangerous next time.
Since then, Jonas limited her movement in the house. Her due date would be in June but as early as April, she applied for an indefinite leave from Louie, and when it was approved, she immediately packed up her things to go to the province – to the place she dreaded to visit.
Jonas tried to stop her to stay in Banawa for at least a month, but Catherine insisted on going back to the province because she felt safe there. Unexpectedly, she looked up to her parents and relatives once again, and it amazed her how pregnancy changed her views on life.
