Chapter 65

“Are you ready to meet your grandparents?” her father asked from the back of the truck. Alpha Draco was driving while she was in the passenger’s seat rethinking all of her life choices. How could anyone be ready to meet her long lost family? Will her grandparents be good to her? Will they be angry and resentful to realize she was a mere human’s daughter? Will they even accept her?

“I’m not sure if they’ll even accept me,” she murmured. “I hope they’ve forgiven my mother for what she did..”

“Don’t worry, baby doll,” Draco muttered from the driver’s seat. If anything goes wrong, let me know and I’ll take care of it.”

She smiled at her mate who was so caring. “Thank you but.. you don’t need to do anything like that anymore. I’ll try to face this on my own.”

He held her hand as he turned to glance at her frame. “I’m proud of you.”

She gave a sly smile. “Thank you, my Alpha.”
