Chapter 67

She didn’t bother to close the drapes in her window last night and Lilian woke up to the rays of sunlight getting into her room. It was already late and she was angry but Alexander was still lying on the sofa bed and the man looked like he was soundly sleeping.

Lilian got up from her bed and went to stir Alexander from his sleep. “Hey! Why are you still sleeping when it’s already time to prepare my breakfast?” She raised her voice while kicking his legs to wake him up.

Alexander woke up with a terrible headache and he couldn’t move his muscles. It was sore and he shivered in cold but Lilian forced him to open his eyes. “Good morning, beautiful.” Even when he was not feeling well, he didn’t forget to greet the woman who meant everything to him.

“What’s good in the morning when I’m hungry and you’re still here?” She snapped at Alexander. With all the frustrations building up inside her, Lilian was back to being mean especially with Alexander.
