POV: Shea Vestine-Thorne

Five years later, she had her way back.

It wasn’t so easy, but Denver helped her overcome her inner beast. If she hadn’t chosen to follow his voice that day, it would have been impossible for her to find the courage to come back.

Her mind went back to reality as she felt Denver’s arms wrapped around her waist.

“Aren’t you done yet?” He murmured as he buried his face around her neck.

She giggled because of the tickling sensation he was giving her.

“Stop it. I smelled like a fish now.” She smilingly pointed out.

However, Denver sniffed her neck – sending shivers down her spine. It was making her feel hot all of a sudden.

“It doesn’t seem to me.” Denver whispered sensually.

He wasn’t helping at all. It just intensified the burning emotion inside her. She bit her lower lip as she stared at Denver – who seemed to feel the same way as her.
