“She is a very nice girl uncle. She has every right to have someone who loves her. She is beautiful, elegant, smart, and talented. Any man would be too happy to have her as his wife.”

“Will you be happy to be that man?”

“Ji?” he looked shocked.

“I asked, do you like her? Would you marry her?”

But before he could say anything we all heard a crash. I looked towards that sound and so did Samar and dad.

My mom was standing there with her hand on her mouth and the tray she must have been carrying had fallen on the ground.

“What did you just say, Sushant?” Mom asked. She looked shocked.

Shit! This should not have happened.

“Nothing honey, calm down...”
