Enzo’s tone prodded me to retaliate, but I lacked the energy for another argument. I was simply too drained, too weak, and too exhausted.

I was simply lying in my bed, in my room, but I felt so inexplicably tired. My brain seemed to cease functioning, possibly due to the stress from Flora and the people bashing me on social media.

“It’s none of your business!” I retorted, though my voice still sounded so weak. “Didn’t I tell you to mind your own?! Leave me alone!”

Enzo’s jaw clenched as he took long strides towards me, prompting my protective instincts to kick in, causing me to scoot back and clutch my knees even tighter.

I gulped as he approached my bed, his eyes darting to the untouched food tray on my nightstand before fixing a stern glare on me. “Get out!”

“Eat…” he ordered, his voice brooking no argument, ignoring my tantrums.
