Alexander’s POV

"Lex is safe," I said. "He's with Sasha."

"Are you f*cking serious right now?" Emily spat in rage. "How dare you leave my son with someone he doesn't know?"

"Stop worrying, Emily," I said, my expression contorting with annoyance. "I will not ever leave Lex with someone I do not trust or with whom he does not feel at ease."

"He's a pup, Alex!" Emily freaked out. "He doesn't know Sasha."

"He seemed very familiar with her," I said, taking her hands and directing her to a couch.

"What do you mean by that?" Emily growled.
