Time stopped.

Darren stood in my bedroom doorway, his phone pointed at us like a weapon. The camera lens caught everything—me clutching the sheets to my chest, Kai half-dressed and positioned protectively between us, the unmistakable evidence of what we’d just done written all over the rumpled bed.

“Get out,” Kai growled.

Darren’s smile widened. “I don’t think so. This is far too entertaining.”
