Chapter 20

Priya’s POV

Mom and I packed all the snacks which we had prepared for him to take on the trip. And I made some Fenugreek Theplas (Gujarati paranthas which keep fresh for a few days) for him as well. Everything was packed, his flight was early in the morning so we all had an early night.

Rohit and I went to the airport with him. He hugged Rohit and told him to be responsible in his absence and take care of everything.

Rohit nodded and told him to be rest assured.

Then he hugged me and whispered near my ear, “I will miss you, my beautiful angel. Will you miss me too?”

I smiled and nodded. He went inside and we came home.

I went to college and all my friends knew by now that I was married. They were angry with me and attacked me with their questions regarding my marriage.

Sia was really upset, as we usually share everything with each other, but I didn’t even tell her. She was not even talking to me.

“Sia, please at least listen to me.”
