She was waiting for Dominic to join her in the library. His plane had just landed, and he had assured her he would go straight home. Agitated, her mind kept running around with ideas. A full migraine attack was brewing.

What more could she do? The assassin had one goal it seemed. To bring Dominic down by killing her.

And she was his Achilles heel.

Knowing her husband-to-be, he would put her above anything first. And he would even sacrifice his life for her. No! She wouldn't let him, and she would do whatever was necessary to keep him safe. It was her duty.
