I paced outside the tent while Alana was being treated inside by the doctors. They told me the bleeding has stopped and her slow heart beat has turned back to normal but she is still unconscious and so they are conducting a few tests to determine the reason.

I instructed the head doctor to be pulled out of the treatment team of Alana but my mother assured me that he needs to be there. Apparently, he has the skills and I am going to swallow my pride in every way that I can to save Alana.

“I should not have done that,” I said in gritted teeth while walking around the tent. “I should have never done that plan. Shit, that was the dumbest thing I have ever done in my entire life!”

I sat on a log and palmed my own self in frustration, Alana’s blooded face is still very much fresh in my mind.

I think it would forever stay there for the rest of my life because I failed her again this time.
