Chapter 451. I Miss Being Crazy Macy

Macy POV

The room is silent. Nyx’s large head rests on my legs while I try to come to terms with what has just happened. Nyx is no longer a part of me, and without her, I feel empty.

“I’m not a werewolf anymore,” is the only thing I can manage to say.

Nyx lifts her head and whimpers before her voice echoes in my mind. ‘You never were.’

Edward and Winston are bustling around the room, getting dressed. Winston tosses me a T-shirt, and I pull it over my head.

“What does this mean?” I manage to ask. “What am I supposed to do without you?”

‘Nothing changes,’ Nyx responds. ‘I will still be by your side. I am a Fae Warrior. I was born to protect your Family, and that includes you.’

A grateful sigh escapes my lips, and I blink the tears away from my eyes. I should be happy for Nyx. She never deserved to be captive in someone’s mind.
