Chapter 9
The warmth of the sun rays on this mountainous scape, made Emma wish fervently that she had dropped off her brown coat in the house; as she felt the pool of sweat that had formed between the layers of her breasts. Her thin white polo was also slightly soaked, and they haven’t gotten to the restaurant yet.
She mused tiredly at the thought, and prayed silently, earnestly in her heart that they should get to the restaurant quickly. Her stomach was already making grumbling sounds.
Trudging down the grassy path with Melvina, Emma wondered at her agility, while neglecting the stares she was getting from the people that stood at the West end of the road, purchasing clothes.
