Leonardo's point of view

"My name is Zena, Kaiser's mate, and I was sent here by your brothers, both of them," the woman began, carefully balancing her voice, her brown eyes darting from me to Morgan as my blue eyes quizzically observed her.

"What??" I heard a lot of gasps rippled through the gathered warriors that surrounded her, Xavier and Jax among them.

I couldn't hide the shock and confusion swirling in my depths. I took a step closer. My blue eyes narrowed on her, and I took in everything about this witch. The symbol of the Dark Circle on her arm, the small pyramid symbol on her wrist – both marks of the enemy. Yet, there was something in her eyes, a sincerity that tugged at my instincts.

Her gaze roamed the faces of the warriors before settling on Morgan, her eyes mirroring his raw, unfiltered emotions. "What are you saying?" he rasped, his voice tight with the strain of keeping his composure, and frankly, so was I.

Zena drew a steadying breath.
