WOLF IN THE DARK

Ethan tosses and turns in bed, trying to calm his wolf. Ever since he returned to his room to get some rest, his wolf has been restless. It has refused to let him sleep, no matter how hard he tries to ignore it, it spurns.

He knows this is happening because he has been away from Camilla for too long now. But he couldn't leave his people without a proper solution to their problems.

Mike has been arrested and lowered down to the Blackhole, where he will receive penance for all the injustice he has done to the people —but that isn't the end. He still has other matters to attend to before he can return home to Camilla.

Yeah, he should call her. Maybe calling her will make him feel better —Ethan takes out his phone to dial her number but he holds back. He looks at the time and discovers it is a few minutes past two o'clock in the morning, Camilla will be fast asleep by now. He won't want to disturb her. That will be too selfish
