A few minutes after the door was shut, Audrey appeared from nowhere and stood in front of me. Immediately, I knew I was in trouble.

“A human slave, boring?” She had her hands folded and was eyeing me as she circled me.

“Follow me,” she said as though she wanted to show me something interesting.

“No, I am to remain here,” it was the only wise thing to do. If I followed her, there was no way I was going to come back in one piece or worse, I may not be breathing again.
