Alpha Amareux knew even in his mourning phase, he had to do what was best for the pack. It was time for him to carry out his duties properly. To take another mate, it was a hard thing to do since the pack would never forget their Luna.

Standing outside with his hands clasped behind his back, he wondered if there was hope for him. They said his mother watched over him but will she help him make the right choice when it comes to this matter?

His heart was torn between duty and family, he knew he had to be there for his father but at the same time he needed to do what was right.

He instructed the guards to make sure his father was eating and drinking, he knew how sad he was knowing the queen had left them there forever, she was never coming back.
