Chapter 24. The Quarrel
MIGUEL'S POV
Wolfgang Pack
“Your father sent you a letter,” I told her, stretching it to her. She read it and sighed sadly.
“Is anything the matter?” I demanded, but she quickly forced a smile, saying she will be fine.
“Really? You will be fine. I'm sick and tired of you hiding things from me all the time. I tried to keep the feelings, but it was getting out of hand. You call that man your father, and he didn't care if you were raped, he grasped you with so much hatred, who on earth calls their father my Lord in such a trembling tone the way you did back then? Who!?” I screeched at her, frustrated. She looked scared. She inhaled and exhaled deeply, staring at me with a massive frown on her face.
“Right back at you! You have a lot of secrets too, yet you kept mute about them. You get angry at Marcus for disrespecting me, yet you insisted you would wait for your mate! Why raise my hope when you knew you would never love me?” She shouted back at me.
