Chapter 11. Alpha Theo’s Legacy
Theo dismissed Sect with a nod, then leaned back in his chair. He had chosen Jihoo for his discipline and integrity, but he knew the young Gamma’s kind nature could sometimes lead him to avoid conflict. If these warriors thought they could undermine his authority, they were mistaken.
Without delay, he sent for Jihoo.
The Gamma entered moments later, his uniform still neat despite the training dust. “You sent for me, Alpha?”
Theo studied him for a long moment before speaking. “I’ve heard… troubling things. Is it true that some warriors have been challenging your orders?”
A flicker of something crossed Jihoo’s eyes—guilt, perhaps worry—but he shook his head. “It’s nothing serious, Alpha. Just minor misunderstandings. I can handle it.”
Theo’s voice hardened. “Jihoo.” The single word cut through the air like a blade. “Do not lie to me. You are my Gamma. If there’s a problem, I must know it. Hiding it only makes it worse.”
