Chapter 70. Lucian’s Desperate Plan

The night air was thick with silence when the female spy once again slipped into the Gamma’s estate, cloaked in shadow. The soft creak of the old wooden door as it closed behind her seemed to echo through the dimly lit room, where the Gamma sat alone, head bowed, his mind a storm of bitterness and regret. If only he had restrain his dead daughter more when she was growing up with that traces of rebellion in her, perhaps, she won’t have met a grim end…

Her voice broke the stillness, smooth as silk but cold as ice. “It is time, Gamma. The waiting is over. The plan must begin.”

He lifted his gaze to her, his face drawn, eyes sunken from sleepless nights. “Time?” he echoed, his voice hoarse. “Time for what?” He ask, lost in his own thoughts.

She stepped closer, her eyes glinting with malice. “Time to strike. Damian, Lucian, Ella—they’ve had their reign long enough. Now, they must fall. And you… you must rise as agreed.”

The Gamma swallowed hard, his heart racing.
