She was tired, hungry, in a crazy amount of pain from the hit she had gotten on her head, and her hands that had been suspended in the air for way over eight hours now, but most importantly she was scared.

She knew either her or Steffan would get badly hurt.

They would not be able to escape it.

She had been lucky so many times in the past few weeks. She feared that luck was quickly running out.

She did not want to die, there were so many joys she had not gotten to experience with Steffan.

She hadn't even gotten enough time with him.
