Chapter 208. Will You Forgive Him?

Delbert returned and attempted to smile at Jade, but his grieving eyes marred it.

Jade smiled back at him. Racheal suspected the woman fancied him a little.

“I’m sorry for your loss.” Jade said.

Delbert nodded. “I will not be able to attend your party this weekend anymore.” He smiled sadly.

Racheal’s eyebrows shut up. She had completely forgotten all about the twins' birthday party.

She had been selfishly taking up Jade’s time and attention.

“Should you not have been there since yesterday?” Racheal asked, turning to her friend.

“I should have, but my flight got delayed, and the party will be over a week long. I will join the group later.” Jade said.

Racheal looked at her friend sadly.

She was actually stopping her from being with her brother.

“You don’t have to bother about me, I will be fine.” She said.

“I know you will be, but I want to stay with you. At least for today and tomorrow.” Jade said, and turned to Delber
