"How much time do we have?" I asked Orion, my voice cutting through the air, sharper than I meant it to be, but I couldn’t hold back the edge, not with Athena’s faint heartbeat pulsing in my mind.
Orion’s jaw clenched so tight I could see the muscle twitch, his eyes dark and focused, like he was staring straight into a nightmare. “Not much,” he said, and his tone was grim in a way that made my chest tight.
