We stayed there a while longer, talking about our future, about the baby, about all the little details that would make this house a home. 

We discussed which room would be Tristan's office, where he could work when he needed to handle pack business.

We talked about eventually getting a dog, maybe a golden retriever for the babies to grow up with. 

We imagined summer barbecues in the backyard and cozy winter nights by the fireplace in the living room.

We've said it multiple times, but we didn't mind discussing it again, like it's the first.

Eventually, we had to get dressed and head back to Orion's for dinner, but I felt lighter than I had in days, filled with anticipation for everything that was coming.
