Chapter 29. Why Would They Be Arguing?

I could hear Orion’s voice in my dream. He and Tristan seemed to be having some kind of argument.
But why would they be arguing? And in my dream?
In all the years I’d known them, I’d rarely heard them raise their voices at each other. They disagreed sometimes, sure, but they always worked things out with quiet conversations and mutual respect.
This sounded different. This sounded angry, hurt, desperate.
“She’s my sister! I have a right to know, man!” Orion’s voice was tight with barely controlled emotion, the kind of tone he used when he was trying very hard not to completely lose his temper.
Even though his voice sounded so real, I knew I was dreaming because there was no way he could be here. He’s with Liam and he’d be there, for at least three more days, until the fever completely broke.
Still, the voices continued. And they were definitely talking about me. My stomach clenched with dread by the thought.
